This is a landscape design for the front and backyard in Eastern suburban Melbourne that provided some rejuvenation and seclusion from neighbours. The plantings were expanded from the rear boundary to provide a generous garden planting while the lawn was redefine and rimmed by a stone sitting wall that would draw people to it. An expanded paved area closer to the house provided greater opportunities to dine and entertain and make greater use of the garden.
The front garden was given a casual sitting nook or ‘secret garden’ that was well hidden behind a tall fence and large existing Camellias.
