Broadmeadows School STEAM Garden

This began as a drab plot of dirt that included an appealing, but lonely, mosaic clad sculpture. A new classroom had been built dedicated to STEAM learning that faced directly onto this space. 

The brief was to create an outdoor learning area where students can gather and engage in activities that include studying and growing food plants. The winding water rill, with its interesting geometry, is a central feature that provides a basis for engaging in science, technology, engineering, art and maths.
